Studio stuff //// 10.11.2013
I’ve had a lot of nice studio gigs this fall.
We recorded the album of Pekka Tegelman and some songs of Maria Hänninen at Havusound-studio in Vuosaari.
In October we were in studio with Boston Promenade at the Sonic Pump -studio. We were recording an album, that will be released next year. It will inlcude songs from 5 decades of Boston’s history. The album includes 6 of my arrangements
Also, I played some woodwinds on the to be released album of Anni.
Astrid Swan //// 30.09.2013
I arranged and played some woodwinds on the soon to be released Astrid Swan album. Beautiful new music! You can hear/download one of the songs here!
We’re currently rehearsing for our upcoming gigs this fall. First on will be at the Lost in Music in Tampere. In the live band Astrid sings and plays the piano, I’m working with sax’s, flute and clarinet and some effect’s. Mikael Hakkarainen plays the guitar and the bass and Alina Toivanen is the drummer.
Peter Pan musical //// 05.09.2013
I’m playing woodwind instruments in a Peter Pan musical show in Teatterimuseo at Kaapelitehdas. It’s an action-packed show with music composed by Jukka Linkola. Exellent ensemble and band, happy to be part of it!
We still have shows 8th and 15th of September in Helsinki and also in Porvoo on the 13th and 20th of October!
Busy July over //// 06.08.2013
Had a Busy July with a lot of fun work. Played some gigs, did a couple of studio sessions and wrote some arrangements for different projets. Spent some time at the sommer cottage also…luckily.

August will continue basically the same way. Looking forward to the busy autumn months also!
